On 26 November 2003, crowds of spectators watch Concorde pass over the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol on its final flight, briefly uniting engineering triumphs of the 19th and 20th centuries. The supersonic plane returned to its birthplace at Filton airfield in Bristol where it will remain.

Four month old Heba Jasim recovering in the Royal Brompton Hospital, London with her parents Iklass Salamon and Jasim Abdul Hadi from Baghdad. Heba was born with a hole in the heart and was filmed by the BBC in critical condition in Baghdad General Hospital. She was brought to the UK by charity Chain of Hope to be operated on at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
